I'm still a bit confused about the rules, is it allowed to play two notes at a time if one of them is just "showing the chord"? or what?
Also, I was wondering if anyone could do me a favour and host my entry? 
"If practice makes perfect and nobody's perfect, then why practice?"

2 notes are considered a chord since a monophobic melody consists out of ONE note at the time

Well, I guess it's my limited English skills, but can someone explain this to me? Another example perhaps? What's so special about this option, if it doesnt' mean that you can play two notes at a time?

I'm somehow not able to listen to zepsi's entry.. I'm not sure why though, coz I'm normally able to play ogg-files just fine. I have the latest version of winamp.... Any idea's why I'm not able to play it?

Okay now listen to me.
Your purpose is to make a ONE NOTE MELODY. Now this means that you'll have to compose a melody that is played by one instrument on one voice. Just like when you're singing. Now you can use another instrument, say some strings to only show chords and make minimal comping to the voice. Of course the voice is going to play over the strings in a poliphonic matter, but that doesn't count. The main purpose is to create a one voice melody and it is OPTIONAL that you can use some other instruments for minimal comping.
Louigi can correct me if I'm wrong here.
In a more practical explanation:
Layer 1: the one voice melody: 4/4 bla, bla, tra-la-la|bla, bla, tra-la-la
Layer 2: the strings: 4/4 G minor chord on beat1......|D major chord on beat1.......
and so on.
So the conclusion is that the melody is playing one note and while it's playing over the comping, you could say that poliphony is going on. But the main goal here is to make the top layered melody line monophonic.

As for Zepsi's entry, I downloaded it again and it plays fine with XMPlay.
