....and do you feel that it greatly effects how much music you want to do?

I work in an office as an Accounts and Admin assistant (v boring!) and I find when I get home I find there is never enough hours to do my music - with all the household chores and stuff that you have to fit in too! I used to work part time but that is not possible anymore.

I hate working full time - it sucks!

:blah:

Where I work?? Damn, it would be one hell of a long list :P But maybe just concentrate to essential: Mainly working among cows ( and their shit ) wich practically makes no day like another. Animals just ensure surprize moment :D That can be positive or negative, depends. Other main enviroment is nature. Fields of around 500 hectares will become familiar in every summer. Not mine's all tho, I'm part-time machine contractor. This job is mainly boring if consider monotonous driving, but once you try to take care of whole process of growth and try to organize maintenance and harvesting optimally considering biological, financial and enviromental aspects, it becomes very interesting. Last one accords to machines and is actually more hobby than work if looking profits, that's designing and making tractor tools for farming.

Hmm. You see its quite a long testament. No wonder I have difficulties to find some time for music :P

Helen.. seems I have the same job as you! Hehe..

I work as an admin for a mortgage broker.

Before I settled down with my fiancee and worked full time I would write and complete at least one song a week.. but now I get home from work, all I want to do is snuggle with the missus, watch cheap tv and crack open a cheap bottle of plonk!!

This is not necessarily a bad thing as I am very happy, but from a musical standpoint I have no inspiration to get off my arse and plug in me guitar.

As of September 2006 I will be working as a student in High School studying... well... stuff. It's fucking boring... :(

However, I've been thinking of trying my hand at making soundtracks for games after the good reception of my game musics collection. Maybe for money :)

I know exactly what you're talking about, the only thing which feels good about working fulltime is the wallet. However now I'm studying music 150% (more than fulltime) which means I dont have much money or time to do my own stuff - but since it's musicrelated its forgivable of course. However in the summer I'll hopefully start work on fulltime again to get some money. I'm a Pharmacy Assistant.

Edit: Forgot to answer the topic question... Well I can work everywhere, but currently I'm in the southern Sweden.
Not so funny signature.

I work at 'homeworkinstitution'. I help kids to do their homework. Usually the kids have some problem, why they can't make their homework at home, and I'm supposed to help themwith that. Problems can be big sometimes, and then they go to me, and a councelor, or whent the problem isn't that big then I'm just the only one they'll speak too. Sometimes, when the kids are in really deep shit, then they go to me for 3 days (1,5 hours per day) and they also see a councelor. That doesn't happen to often though.

I'm still a student though, I got this job next to my study.. :)
