Reading that second interview makes me think that Saurin just one day said "screw it" and went back to the idea that worked the first time around - and improved it quite a bit.

Although, I must wonder if he's still got that "artist's marketplace" wandering in the back of his mind somewhere.

TIS was good days

Registerd in -97 & uploaded my ever first done XM there.
I got smashed. Some of my old TIS trax can still be found on
my artist page here at CTG.

TIS was something different.
Had more to to with the uploadpossibilitys & the fileformats (trackerfiles
rather then MP3´s) that made it so big. You liked something, just steal the samples
and learn how it was coded. Was a very good time in early music internet stage.

Roncli's got it half-right. I said "screw it" but also added "save it for later." My goal was to first bring back the music site. Why? Because I missed the music and friends. I figure, we'll start with a good music site and go from there.

If you haven't seen it, then go to www.traxinspace.com. Form your own opinion - or better yet, give me feedback so I can improve the site and make it place where sites like CTG, Trax In Space and others keep the scene alive and growing. And most importantly so that we can make better music and share it with more people.

Havent read the whole thing, drinking etc atm.. but I remember the kinda strange review system (not a terrible idea tho). You set yourself in music genre, and random songs popped up for you to review. When you reviewed some songs your own songs got some priority for other reviewers. A bit like the promo-system here, but more like you HAVE to review some stuff to get priority, and that priority didnt get away untill you had a review.

Shitty language, but getting drunk. bb
