Hi!
I recently started making some trance... And I want to ask for an advice - are there any good plugins like TS-404 and TB 303, to produce those sqeaky, blobbish sounds which are always used in trance?
I tried Muon Tau, but it is very limited - I mean, you can't use it in every track, can you? TS-404, the one that goes with FL is okay, but I am bored with it too.
Muon Atom has dreadful noise behind every sound.
I also tried using various samples for that, putting resonance on max and playing with the cutoff at LP mode. But rarely do these experiments sound nice - most samples I have are not designed to serve in that way.

Audiorealism Bassline or Audiorealism Bassline Pro are both good synths for those synths you describe.
You can also use Propellerheads Rebirth, but as far as I know that can not be "synced" to your sequencer, so you have to sequence in rebirth itself and export the sequences. |

you can rewire rebirth into Reason though... and depending what other software you use, you can rewire reason into it... such as Sonar or Pooface..um, Cubase

Yes, Bassline is one hell of an 303 emulator

Northpole is a pretty neat VST for transforming mundane sounds into something "acidy".
But, yeah; BassLine is king.

I think ReBirth is the shit. With the device in Reason > rewired to Cubase and you're done!
