no, that's not how you add news to the frontpage. You can add news under 'home --> add news'. After you've done that, you need to wait until a newsadmin accepts it, or randor or me..... It will open a new topic, AND a topic on the frontpage.

When I move this to the news section, the thread will simply be a thread under 'news', but it won't be on the frontpage.
