Welcome back!
I know the feeling; a bit uncertain about the future, but most of all I felt relieved after all this - don't you? Just some consideration from my side: Why so hurry to get a job? You're supposed to have some money from the army now as well. Also it's summer soon, maybe allow yourself a long nice vacation? I did.

nice talkin... the money as a soldier was 08 euros and 66 cents per month (yes this is 08.66)-=-=- and yes we were full time there for 12 months... i bet you don't suppose anymore that i have some money from the army as a matter of fact i have to find a job immediately and i'm a bit stressed about it! i wish i had some money for vacation
maybe a small fund from the CTGers group would help your poor friend Jeff...should i give ya a bank account?

OK! So the rules are just different in your country.
Here we got maybe 200$ / month. Not much iether, but much compared to yours. Also we got a big "endsum" when we were done, which were about as much as we got during the time we were in the army (so we could live for a while during our search for job.) It sucks that you don't have the same right in your country.
Well I wish good luck to you in the search for job, unfortunately I don't have much money myself right now for donation

My muckarbidrag was 4500 SEK. (which was about two weeks of living.) |

Nah, I was just trying to illustrate how incredibly old I've gotten since I did my military service in 1996. It's pretty amusing looking back, the money I got during those 11 months is pretty much what I get on a good month now. Then again, the stay was all inclusive so it wasn't that bad a deal. |
