Sad/Depressive stuff, you can find that everywhere on my songs nearly (doomed 5 especially)
But i don't really know... "Unfair" by pluks seems in the mood too
"Taaaaaake Evrythiiiiiiiiiing from the insiiiiiiiide, and Throooow it alllllllll awaaaaaaaaaaay!
- Damn man, that's scato...
- Screw you..." |

Actually, the really interesting question should be: what optimistic music is there on CTG? Writing a good optimistic tune is very difficult, while sad and melancholy stuff are pretty easy to do. One attempts to write smth optimistic and ends up doing a silly cheesy tune.

That's true. I've tried some optimistic songs. I think the less cheesy is the hymn I made for a football team. Here you've got the link in case you're interested. Atzeneta F.C. . There's a folk version and a rocky one.

Its not hard to make a positive tune. Its just inspiration that comes more often when you are depressed, bad, sad, mad, etc
About positive stuff : This song of mine is the best exemple i can give you
"Taaaaaake Evrythiiiiiiiiiing from the insiiiiiiiide, and Throooow it alllllllll awaaaaaaaaaaay!
- Damn man, that's scato...
- Screw you..." |

I don't agree. It's a widespread steretype, but I, for example, never had inspiration when I was sad. Actually, I usually get inspiration when my mood is rather neutral.

It's different for different people I guess. Some certainly compose better when depressed...

I would also try "Stop" by Void Pointer or even some songs of mine!

Louigi> Agree too, as Ni told, it depends. But i've seen more "negative" musics/lyrics/art-stuff than "positive"

A lot of Xerxes' songs qualify, though I liked "The Day We Met" most of them.
While we're linking to our own songs... I've got Sunken which is quite melancholic and emotional song too (yeah, I know the drums need a lot more work, I'm working on them).
