Quick question: Is it possible (or even worthwile, opinions are welcome) for a song to be automatically removed from a favorites list if it is removed from the site? I'm trying to DL songs from other people's faves list but most of them don't exist anymore. I know personally that this is an annoyance to me as I browse through the lists of others and I also don't like the idea of having a removed song taking up space on my own list without my knowledge.

I am a PHP programmer. I can tell you that it is possible.
However, I would not want this to be automatic. Say, I like somebodies tune and I want it on my list. Then for some reason the person removes his song. However, I still want to show my appreciation. Why not keep the song on my list? imho

Well, personally I think it makes no sense at all to have a non-existing song at a favorite list. The idea of that feature isn't only to show appreciation, it's equally much about helping other people find good music. And of course, if favorite songs often points to removed stuff, people will stop using the feature, and the idea of this feature itself fails on both points - why show appreciation with a feature that's not useful for listeners?
However, a good reason not to change this, is that the programmers has so much to do, and might want to focus on other features.

Well, perhaps the href could just be taken off the title of the track that disapeared and some text could be out there saying (deleted) or something... that way if the artist ever posted the track again (assuming it was just invisible) then the link would reappear again
