i thought this was an interesting topic... how did you guys decide to pick your artist handle/name ??? is there a story behind it, or just outa random?
my story... :Anoxxia
-way way way back, in a galaxy..... um, i was browsin through a bunch of my winamp skins, and i particularly liked this one skin, it was i forget, like "Zeus somethin... but in the equalizer section, it had the word :Anoxia... i didn't bother to notice at first, but later on, i liked that word, "Anoxia," but disliked the spelling, so i added an x, so yep, now im Anoxxia everywhere, lol, aim, messenger, music, everything... well, later on, i found out that Anoxia was a real word. It had meant : state of an extreme lack of oxygen in the bodily tissues.. so if u were suffering from Anoxia, u were in deep deprivation of oxygen.. interesting huh? .... share your stories.

Doriath means 'Fenced Land' (referring to the Girdle of Melian) from J.R.R. Tolkien. The name was given by my very good friend at that time. I've never read Tolkien's books (shame on me), and I had no idea what it means. Though I liked this name.
Later on I started to search the meaning of Doriath. I found that it is actually a land. I asked my friend why he gave me this name and he said, he gave this name as a title for my compilation.
Anyway, I kept it, I like it, and now I know what it means.

"Cooth" comes in a wicked way from my last name. Some friends called me Kaczan (a kinda typical way of inventing nicknames at school) in th old days, which in english would be spelled more or less 'kut-chan'. So thereafter a friend started to call me 'kutch'. To make you read it more or less like a Pole, i'd spell it Coot-h (h like in "hey")... so after some time, (i guess outta boredom  ) i started to write Cooth instead of Kutch in my emails. It's not phonetically the same, but I kinda liked this word for the sound, catchiness and the meaning. 
Yeah, so this is it. Nothing really clever eh? hehe.

Capital letters at first and the last place make some kind of "metalish" look like MetallicA or MegadetH

Benefit of the Boomerang.. yeah, it was one of those days..
I've always been a talker, shouter, noisy, non-stop adrenaline frenzist..
So, I never knew when to quit, including talking.. I always kept replying
in conversations, discussions, wotever..
Some people started to call me the boomerang, coz I always replyed, I always
came back for more.
The nickname Boomerang was given by people of my school.. and it was spread after I started doing gigs together with Predator in Densetsu..
When that stopped and we both went our different ways, I discovered my own little path in music, started to develop my own little style.. hence Benefit of the Boomerang..
Plus.. BotB sounds so funny 
Not to mention that having a long nickname has its benefits (AYE).. for such a name is not easily forgotten
It's cool to read how all those different nicknames came off the ground..! |

well my nickname doesnt really have any special backing story... i thought ussing "ace" as nick name would be a cool idea and right now i dont really know why , how and when did it happen but i know why did the "cream" pop up
it is my favorite track "blank&jones - cream" this track gave me as many goosebumps as anyother song and i started loving music which i make and love after hearing it... plus i like the word itself  |
