How's the statistics? I have been around for a few years but haven't noticed any significant change in forum activity? It seems more dudes are uploading there songs for sure, but how about development in the forum? Feels a bit *dead*.

I agree. Though CTG forums can be considered quite active compared to forums all around the INet, but the activity is not that marvellous as say they have at Paul McCartney forums.
But too active forums have a drawback - your message simply gets lost. The communication is not that close anymore, nobody there knows anyone...
So perhaps our forums are quite alright as they are.

The site as a whole is growing. I'm not sure about the forum though, I suppose we are just the same old guys who have fun..

Well... the demarcation between different forums is a bit different compared to, for example, phpbb boards and the like; in there you have a fair number of well-defined forums in which separate topics are discussed. In here, you pretty much have "On-topic" and "Off-topic" - the differences are glossed over so you essentially only have two topic areas.
That and there aren't that many posters apart from you regs anyway.

The thing I like with this forum, is that we're almost devoid of idiotic n00bs asking questions which are answered in a topic marked "PINNED FAQ, READ BEFORE POSTING"
But, sadly .. we've got our screaming n00bs yelling about warez still

I think the forums are pretty active... I wouldn't want them too much more active then this. I personally hate those forums that have 100 new posts every day. They hurt my brain.
