Most music is simply uninteresting boring or bad. We are all a part of that. Even the very great artists have lots of crap among their goldies.
Why is it like that?

Yes, 1up, you definitely have bad taste.
But yeah, many albums have "fillers" which i wonder why they even bothered recording. It kind of annoys me. Then again, it's even more annoying to buy a 30 minute CD. What was the question again?

Well, if we talk about "albums", many of them are made for the
commercial scene, or has been radiolized, both in time & style.
And thats most music.
That´s why you listen to other music

The reason for that is simple, it's impossible for somebody to perform at their peak level at all times, so what you get is a random percentage of what their current performance level is. Sometimes this level reaches your requirements for good music, other times it doesn't.
As for albums, you'd be surprised to see how many artists are forced by the record companies to make fillers songs to fill out an album with!
And that of course lowers the feel of the songs even more, because they aren't made with any intent of sounding anywhere near good.

I agree with John Marwin But sometimes some songs are bad because they don't fallow the rule of music.

Its because there's too many people making music, tends to dilute the talent a little.

I think that there is a lot of good music. We merely get mistaken, thinking that pop music, rock and hip-hop are the only things around. Want it or not, we are zombied by mass media and all these music awards and stuff - all points that this is the best stuff in the world, while it is not.
There are many things going on in the musical world and there are tonns of really good music being released, maybe just not that massively promoted. Everybody knows Madonna or Britney Spears or U2 or Michael Jackson, but nobody from the 'mainstream' heard of On The Edge or Novecento or Al Di Meola, while these are great musicians with fantastic output.

The question was rather why is there so little music you like.
You seem to argue that searching randomly, picking a song on random, and you will most probably like it?
That's not my world. Most music is simply uninteresting or boring. Very few is inspiring and worth listening on again.
