I would like to ask you a few questions then about your country. It's for the purpose of a song I'm writing, a polka.

The question is rather specific but here goes:
The theme of the song is Czech apples. I'm looking for pictures of an apple growth in Czech. I wanna know which kind of apples they eat and grow most of there. I wanna se pictures.
Apart from that, I'm curious to what instruments are used usually?
What is your relation to the Polka? Is it pretty popular among everyone?

In Polka the most important instrument is accordian backed up with some clarinet and bass guitar or some trumpet. Drums are very rare or more likey there are no drums, they maintain the rythm with the bass.
Ohh and they usualy sing about love and wear silly outfits.

hehe okey thank you. Clarinet and trumpet, eh.
The instrumentation in my song is rather different, featuring a spanish guitar for one. But we want to explore new areas of music aswell as tradition.

I wouldn't agree. Polka is played with different instruments, not only accordion. Polka is a certain form of music, not something performed with a certain instrument.

What ace is trying to say is basically what I'm seeking. A general instrumentation among Polka bands where he or anyone else in a Polcaholic country has noticed.
