I'll try some of the options I've seen in here for recording with different tempos, I've also an idea, I'll try it when arriving home, if it works I'll place the tip in here Thanks all! |

I really hope that Reason 4. or ReasonVSTi will emmerge from the excellent talent at Propellerhead studios. I have been using Reason since version 1.0 and have faithfully followed the progress of Reason. I think all that Reason needs is:
1. VSTi Compatability
2. A Time feature on the transport bar. (very useful for making time restricted compositions)
3. A PAN'ning / GroovePAN module for stereo effects.
This would make my production output 10x and would also give me the enthusiasm to write even better tracks.
I really hope anyone from Propellerheads is reading this as they are currently without a doubt the leaders of DAW technology and really need to implement some kind of VSTi / DXi compatability to their software to enable it to continue growing within the industry.

I really do hope Propellerheads DON'T implement VST technology in Reason. And from what I've read on their forums they won't anyway..
Not everything relies on VST instruments. You CAN make music without it and Reason is the best example. I really hope to see some new and awesome new devices with more synth and sampling power along with some great refills.
To tell you the truth, I really don't miss VST, because Reason is so complex, and so versatile that it allows you to create your very own - or recreate for that matter.
VST is NOT for Reason. And Reason is not VST, and will never be. Reason is something else.
I make music because I can (1622 hits) - dfast |

Right click to "transport" on the sequencer and choose "parameter automation". tick tempo and click ok.get the "pencil tool" and scratch the field where you want to change tempo. then draw a line that how do you want to change tempo.
