I WONDER WHY SOME PEOPLE GET THE IDEA THAT IF YOU WRITE LIKE THIS, OTHERS WILL TAKE IT MORE SERIOUSLY AND ACTUALLY THINK IT'S IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i've just read your reply on the forum.
for starters my tracks which supposedly have unprocessed breaks in them actually contain percussion loops, something another producer should really know. as well as that, these tracks we're recorded in two top notch studio's, by professional engineers.
my label's existence is not to cash in on pay per download websites. it just so happens vinyl does'nt sell like it used to, forcing all labels to follow suit.
negative comments like these don't benefit you or me. i'm not in this just to make money, my objective is to promote new artists and simply put good music out.
no hard feelings, but i had to say my piece.

So here is my reply to Mr. Bradley. I feel that I should take the time to let him know why I said the things I said, and provide further insight into why he got the reaction he did from not only me, but others in this community.

From this statement, we can derrive that all producers should be psychic. Realistically speaking though, if those are hand made loops, then I must say you did a fairly good job, as sound quality wise, they sound like breaks. The second reason they sound like breaks though, is that there's no variation in the beat whatsoever. Perhaps I was a bit harsh by commenting that they sounded like unprocessed breaks however, so I retract that comment, and replace it with this one: I don't like repetitive house.

I'm not going to pick on your grammar, as I'm not an english major. However, I will point out that "top notch studios" are no replacement for talent... wait... that's wrong of me: I DON'T LIKE BORING, UNINSPIRED HOUSE. That asside, I know many engineers that are not qualified to make music. One of them was the guy that layed the network infrastructure I'm posting from... not to say that electrical engineers can't produce music, but I would assume that most of them specialize in other things.

Hey... that's fine by me... but if you're serious about your label, the least you could do is invest in a website. I spent quite a while browsing for some info on your label, only to come up with pay-per-play sites. That's not a sign of a serious label --- it's a sign of someone trying to cash in.

To be honest, and I might sound a bit brutal here, but oh the fuck well: They benifit the community, because noone here needs to get ripped off by a "label" that's just out to make quick cash. There's been many people who have posted on these forums claiming to be a "Record Label" but have provided near none in the way of credentials... and I've heard rumor of people getting ripped off by such labels in the past. So, excuse me if I'm Mr. Critical, but I don't like to see people get fucked.... and you had all the telltale signs of a not-so-serious label... including the fact that this was your first post on the site. (Allways get to know the locals before making a post like this) So yah: Get some damned credentials.

Unlike you, I can't have hard feelings towards someone I don't know... and I do wish you good luck with your label... but you might want to take my advice and make it a bit more legitimate... also, providing some information on contracts and such in posts like this might be of use too. No offence, but your lack of proper grammar, punctuation, and proper spelling also tend to take away from any professionalism you might portray.
