Hey! ah...
you know what? i tried to make good music, i've tried to fit in with more and more artists from around the world, and I've certainly tried to respect my fellow musicians, as i did in school, and now on the internet scene just because i wanted to get my music heard, and maybe appreciated too.
and what happens? i'll tell you.. Some half-width dumb-ass (read Crish) is screwing me... He's english is bad, but his skills must be good if he managed to get my home IP, right?
so what happend was this:
I got a mail: name: Crish, subject: "Your music", I say, ok, let;s see... and when I read, well, read for yourself: "HALLO! I AM LIKING YOUR MUSIC VERY MUCH, AND I WANT TO MET YOU IF YOU POSSIBLE" ooooooooook.. I loughed a bit, and put the message under my "crap" section.
Tomorrow again, and from that day on, everyday 2-3 messages!!!
aaand, finally i answer... I asked what is it with him, and what does he want!?!
And he said: nothing, he just liked my music. ok. and from that day (about 2 months ago) he stopped writing. pfew@
but then i saw a review here on CTG. ahh, crap, it was ok but for one thing: the high note.. all the other reveiwers gave me 7-8 he gave me 9-10.
so i say ok cool, he must really like my music. and then I would NEVER had the ideea that he wouldn't do other reviews, he just sat there- dead, only reviewing me, and ofcourse i got contacted by one of the webmasters. and with my IP and all that they have proof, I have nothing - I'm screwed!
So the bottom line is that I am NOT Crish - first of all it's spelled wrong dammit!
and second I would never do such thing as to brag or fake my reviews, I am
totally against that! I just got 2 awsome reviews on Modplug Central Forums for my latest EP and I AM EXTATIC!!! I don't need some stupid dumbass sissy boy to review my stuff... I consider myself a professional musician - i have graduated the national collage of arts from Romania - piano/directing section, and now i'm studying for a scholarship in germany at the Pop-Jazz Academy from Hannover /piano section.
I have nothing in my defence, and i believe my account here will be deleted.
I am really sorry for this, and all i have to say is that i'm being framed here! |

So far as I know it is impossible for someone to have the same IP adress as for example you .
Do anyone know more about this ? (the IP thing)

It's possible to have fake IP same like urs. Btw, there's not need to have same IP. It could be done w/o that stuff.

ok, so i've done some digging around (asked some of my *hacker* friends)
and i've come up with this:
IT IS POSSIBLE for someone to use your IP.
the thing is this: you get the dns from let's say an IRc client by hitting /whois cdnalsi and getting the IP. the procedure is actually very simple, and it only takes one 10k proggie to do when i'm online. ok, next thing. check if the IP is available - if I'm not on it - if I'm not online - this you can do at www.antiproxy.com ...
and switch your browser's proxy before logging to CTG.
and voila - you're cdnalsi.
So we can never be at the same time logged in.. because the IP only supports 1 user i guess. and i know that if my ISP has the IP taken, it will automatically report me with another... |

Oh, don't overreact it please. Your skills, scene activity is highly appreciated. We all know that you are a great guy. (frankly i was very surprised with this story). And if the truth is in your side, why should not you just sit back and relax? |

Look man i dont think the question is if it is possible that 2 people have same ips..
Why would some one try to fake your IP and then give you nice looking reviews... quite pointless? From my point of you crish was really nic towards you so why would he even try to hack.
And well just to make this more strange is that you wrote a post in forum with same ip as crish was seen 10 minuts after that.
And this are facts. |
