1) Never "begged" or asked for reviews, only asked if someone`s interested in listening to my track.
2) Never used any program to send those messeges.
3) "Less inspiring" means for whom? You, Randor? I however will remember your statement and gladly notify you of my new tracks. Feel free to do the same.
4) xtr1m: you`re wrong all the way. I asked if you wanted to listen to a song. You could comment or review on your own free will.
5) Cooth is right. As I and Gogaloyd seem to be the only ones to have done it he merely forsees the future. I therefore strongly suggest you listen to him and make a rule out of it. As no such rule existed before, the ban of our account Gogaloyd&XAVT is, pardon me, based on no grounds which I would ask you kindly to undo. |

I, personally, do not differentiate between personal e-mail, private message, the telephone, my letterbox or some fucker knocking on my front door punting out their wares.
Random PM spamming is an invasion of a personal communication tool, and is no different to some twat phoning you up trying to sell you some double glazing right in the middle of dinner.

It means, that like the telephone, personal e-mail, or the handwritten letter, a Private Messaging system on a website such as this, is there as another personal communication medium, and individuals who use this system to promote themselves via numerous 'non-personal' communiqués are invading the privacy of the recipient, just in the same way when you open a magazine these days, a bombardment of advertorial shite cascades from within the publication. In other words, you didnt ask for that, and it annoys you.
The fact that one or two people have responded favourably to your 'campaign', is purely statistical - the vast majority of people find this kind of thing extremely annoying, including myself.
Anybody who is actually interested in spam of any kind, will examine the spam forum. If you had done that in the first place, the results may have been much more favourable.

Yeah you`re right... I hate commercials too.
Now that we agreed on this issue, do you mind taking that flashy signpost off of your signiture? I thank you very much as I have to constantly look at it and it annoys me as I didn`t choose to look at it, it is just constantly there. I just don`t get it. If I wanted to buy your music I guess I`d have entered your artist profile and found more about your music, but putting it where your signature is supposed to be? In other words, you didnt ask for that, and it annoys you.
I have no campaing and I`m against no one. I just want my music to be heared, as you all do. |

You know, you have a very good point there.
I tell you what, I'll keep my signature banner, promoting myself in an agreed and acceptable way, and you can go ahead and annoy the shit out of the vast majority of the people on this site by bombarding them with messages suggesting they should check out your music, along with messages apologising for sending the the same message twice etc. etc., and lets see who people think is the biggest twat.
