please help me .. give som,e hints and stuff about mastering vocoder job .. i can't get it sound as good as song itself :)

I think you only 'master' the whole track, rather then singular instruments. I don't much much about vocoders but I do know all the vst's I tried are rather sucky. Try to get your hands on some Hardware effects or synthesizers like a Korg MS2000 with inbuilt vocoder - that one is pretty nice.

Also, the more voices the better the sound I think. Sorry again, I'm not familiar with this stuff. Hope this helped though.

Whoops, correction; Fruityloops has a _very_ nice Vocoder, and Reason aswell! I don't know what you're using but if it's one of those it's certainly possible to get a great sound. Be sure to have a nice thick sound to mix with your vocals ;)

If there are any proper Vocoder VST's I'd love to know aswell :)

By the very nature of the machine, a vocoder isn't going to be very eq-friendly. Instead, you might take a look at the rest of the track and "clear a space" for the vocoded stuff to sit in...

That's very true. Lots and lots of different frequencies if you want to be able to make out the words.

You can get a VSTi version of the FL Vocoder as part of Image-Line Juice Pack or a cut down (I think limited to 8 bands) version free with Computer Music magazine.

Heh... I prefer vocoder as a tool to make cool effects elsewhere than vocal processing... like drums through pads, etc ;)
