Gee, everyone, thank you for your inputs )) Truth be told, I've had this idea come to my mind when I heard that some trackers could be run on an Xbox, so the thought just went extreme. But, as I see, some of you have made quite impressive analyses of the social impact of the "personal Xbox" )))
Another idea: if Xboxes replaced ordinary PCs, programming would consist in searching the operating system addresses for the rjght statement, while avoiding and/or fighting evil electrical pulses and/or viruses and then transporting it to the right place in the computer program puzzle (and the same for variables and such). For this, it would be crucial to have good gamepad skills, so Mavis Bacon Teaches 1337 Gamepad Skillz (instead of Typing) would be a top-selling software )))
And, Louigi Verona, if computers were replaced by microwave ovens, we'd surely find some way to transform heat waves into binary digits (i.e. 1 and 0). And having found that out, it would only be a matter of several years before the first MOSes (Microwave Operating Systems) would appear, and then the first PMs (Personal Microwaves), and then someone would have the great idea to make an operating system called Heatwaves XP or something... ))))
Cheers.

Yeah, and they would write programms in fried chickens, that would have to be heated up in order to run.

But -like- a bug goes in the microwave before it is closed. And this bug is very ill, creating -like- a virus in the chicken. -However-, the hot sauce with Virus scan program will eliminate it before dinner is served... -obviously-

Hell would brake loose and I for one would become christian (I'm atheist now) to save my soul and my big ass.
Of course what I'm meaning to say is that I think this probably won't happen.
@nekativ: The Wii from Nintendo is freaking awesome btw.

I'm sorry Louigi, but I don't think there's any way to make a fried chicken run again. It's just too late. |
