The some of you other guys: Stop being so fucking sarcastic (ASSHOLE TRACKER v8.1 blah blah blah). He was only asking for some easy to use music software. Even I couldn't figure out fruityloops when I tried it rescently.
This have happened so many times before now. A new person comes to ctg, asks a simple question and people go like "FU" at him. Soon this will be a place where a few regulars hang out, who have been members ever since the name of this site was "cute trance girls". I want no part of it though. I'll remove my profile, change the password to something I don't remember.

I agree. This should be a music community. However, when a newbie asks a newbie question everyone starts being a bitch. Thanks Lonestar and Storm destroying another topic

Bullcrap... Everytime i've notice this kind of replyes from everyone here, so i don't destroy nothing, is just a contribute to something that u do also.

Anyway, want a serious reply, ok.
U can do Techno with WHATEVER.
Whats the best program depends on the kind of sound u want for your techno tracks.

Project5 really might be quite nice, Cakewalk makes very pleasant sequencers. I'm a Sonar addict myself...
I used to think I had a very refined sense of humour, and that's why people never laughed at my jokes. Now I've realized that I'm just not funny.

sweet, thanks guys. K i think im gonna go with Frutiy Loops first, since I already have the crack version, ill just play around with it and stuff, and if i still cant make a single song with it or something then ill approach a different software, like what you guys recommended. Reason 3 sounds good but I think it will be too complicated for me since I am just a begginer, but as I get better I'll probably try Reason.
Thanks.

Just a tip, but generally I find that I have more motivation to learn a particular program when I actually pay money for it... |
Tru, but I didn't download this program, it was given to me by a friend to just play around with, but as I said when I start to know the basics and start getting the hang of music production. then that's when i'll buy a real software like Reason or something.

Actually, FL/Reason are quite similar in actual abilities and features (Well, maybe Reason has better sample support, but that's about it). If you like FL I'd suggest trying the Reason demo, and if you don't like it just stick with FL...
