Reason doesn't suck, it's just very limited and 16 bit, and no vst support, and no automation for the tempo, etc.
FL is better imo

Well, this really is quite the claim. Listen, just because you have a disliking for a particular program, it doesn't mean you should constantly dis it here on the forums. There is a lot I could say about FL, but I dont, because I dont see the point, I tried it, I dont like it, it doesn't mean I should try and make everyone not like it. If a program 'sucks' as you put it, then people simply wont use it, just as you dont. HOWEVER, there are alot of artists on here that swear by Reason, such as me, and seeing you pop up every 5 seconds rubbishing it, will eventually piss them off. So, piss off with this bullshit topic, and stop being an absolute NUMPTY, before you forever subject yourself to a status where everything you say, people laugh at you, and shout..... OMGZ N00B!

no vst support, true (there's rewire possibility anyways). no tempo automation, true. My tracks are 24-bit, so... don't know what you mean.
Anyways, FL/Reason? Question of taste.

Reason doesn't suck, in fact, there ARE no limits if you're inventive enough,
so all it really boils down to is the limits you impose on yourself.
So really, when you go "reason sucks".. you're in reality only talking about
your inability to use the program.
Edit: I did try out reason, but I found no reason to keep using it

Reason sucks because of its limitations, CTG sucks because of its unperfect review system, the internet sucks because of the insecurity and hackers, the world sucks because of the risk of cancer. Everything sucks. Absolutely. I really mean everything, including pessimism and ignorance. Therefore life sucks too.

Both true. It's all dependant of the point of view of every individual.
@rythmicon: If your opinion is that reason sucks, fine. But don't expect everyone else to share that.
@slammy: If you share the point of view of the second case, then you certainly know better than ralenting about the stupidity of certain posts.

ok ok ok...i apologise for saying reason sucks i should have just put a different topic name like "audio workstation?" i dont realy think it sucks its just that i find it completely different to what im using and it dosnt suit me...once again i apologise to all those reason fans...  |
