Maybe not the most original, but sure as hell
a very effective track! though some better mixing
is required for full effect, the haul of stampeding
beats is awesome. when the track slows down, it doesn't
lose its excitement, but gets a bit too predictable.

- This one has a much more powerful begining, but then it gets calmer and calmer. I don’t like that. Brutal music is not for

Though chaotic and intense, the track feels very
random and this has its effect on the flow.
The bridge brings relief and is replaced by a solid
flow and vibe.. which is relentlessly blown to bits
later on.. which left me guessing.. why destroy the

- It lacks some power. The song starts kinda easy-listening and it annoys me a bit. It needs more brutality. The song is
fast, but not powerful. The choice of instruments is, in my opinion, a wrong decision. The ending is the only BRUTAL part. I
would have loved to have more brutality during the rest of the song.

- This is a brave try to make something different. That’s a good point. However, it hasn’t got many remarkable things.

Sounds like a band of drunken guys, jamming because
they heared of a brutal competition! Although there
was effort in making a brutal sound, I don't really
consider this a serious attempt at making an actual song.

A wall of solid rythms and its only starting. Very big
track, soundwise, though it is a bit flat and lacking
in balance to make out exactly what's happening, but the
overall idea is big thumps up. Very energetic, relentlessly
howling at its listener with intense atmospheres. Great track,
not the most original, but definately the most effective and
well thought-out brutality.

A fine combination of soothing atmospheres and rough edged
rythms, resulting in an intense and challanging track. Relentlessly
hard and fast, would make a killer on any jungle dancefloor!
Variation, which is rythmically entwined, doesn't leave the listener
alone. Maybe not the most infectious or accesive, but very serious
rough- and toughness, badasss jungle.

PartySan - Apocalypse
1/ BOTB
Although this is an amazing track, both in composition as in soundscaping,
it doesn't represent brutality in the least, in my opinion. It's massive,
it's magnanimous and an absolute fine work of art, but it's too much relying
on its distortion to be convisive. On the contrary, with a clear sound, it
would probably have had more impact. Very emotive and expressive, but
leaning more in the direction of theatrical and drama than brutality.

Storm 3003 - Back From Hell
1/ BOTB
Great thought went into the composition of this track. Taking all the
time it needs to slowely grow into a pounding groove-infested massacre
of violence. The threatening atmosphere takes its hold and doesn't let
go, although the track is somewhat lacking in variation, it has a
very original approach to a brutal sound and has succeeded in providing
a frustrated track of anger.

Soundcontrol to the max! Rythmically and technically a lust for the ear,
slowely progressing into an emotional rollercoaster, pushing a slow
but very effective vibe. A very nice contrast between gloomy atmospheres

Very well worked out track. Attractive sound and very infectuous composition!
Great contrast between melancholic melodies and filthy synths, resulting in
a most brutal of brutal track, not relying on speed or evil melodies, but the
most subtle emotional touches and a very big bag of distortion, but not overdone.
This track gets down to business from the very first second and kept my interest
and undevided attention on the whole.

Fast, tight and very tastefull. Intense and perhaps challanging for some, but this
sounds like earcandy to me. Effectice melody use, the acid may be a bit out of control
at times, in overall this sounds like tamed chaos. Which is an exceptionally good thing.
Although the track relies heavily on its sound and not so much on musical content, the
track may be effective, it tends to lose its hypnotising effect later on. And yet it
manages to stay pleasantly groovy and invites the listener for some fast footwork.

I wonder what pills was PLUKS on when he found my song ambient'ish soundtrack that has a clear mix. 
Anyways, nice job! And the results came out just like I'd imagined. Congrats to xaimus, 'tis a great song.

xaimus won, what a suprise  hehe this is the song i liked most of all.
i had no time to write good reviews, but i tried to do my job honestly. It could be strange to someone that death metal songs take last places... As you can see i've gave them 10 and 9 points in brutality, but sorry, these songs are not so good. Anyway all participants have made a goood job, piece of cool music, congrats to everyone who took part of this compo. and... I'm sorry for a delay, but i have no too much spare time last days and i wanted to do it my best. It was hard to be judge in this compo because the songs were different generes, even if this was a theme (brutal) compo

@BotB & PLUKS: I know it's not brutal. I wanted to do something else, but had writers block. Plus, I only know how to pound a few basic chords out of my guitar, haven't managed to make a killer riff yet
