Since the +1 thread is slowly degenerating, I thought I'd do my best to keep it on track by putting a new topic up, this one's about pen and paper RPGs, has anyone played it ?
Does anyone have any good stories regarding it? if you do, please share them with us!
Anyhow, here's mine:
A friend of mine was heavily into that stuff, so he had this character which was going up against a god.. trouble was, said god was so evil that he had an aura of 1 kilometre around him which petrified people for ten thousand years. My friend asks the game master (the one that decides the story and other things) if he can roll on the possibility of reaching said god without getting petrified... Sure the GM says, but the probability of it is less than ten percent, you know that right?
.. my friend smiles wikkedly and rolls the dice.. only to get petrified for ten thousand years 
Anyhow, he had to make a new character after that, but later on when they were going through a portal into the future, they actually found him again and so he could continue to play with his character 
I would like to try it sometime, just to see how insane a game could get.

Have played it, from 13-15. Then I got laid, havn't tuched it after that
Unfortunately my friends that I played with weren't creative enough to make good stories at the time, don't get me wrong, it was loads of fun, but getting girls and playing is like using ammonia for aftershave.
Fusion may not make the world go round, but it keeps the sun burning and music evolving. |

I guess you didn't find the right girl then
Me and my girl sometimes pull allnighters if we find a suitable game to play for a long enough time.... worst allnighter was when we were finishing breath of fire III, when we had beaten the game, we realized that not only had we missed school... but we had also been up for almost two days
However, that was a game for the playstation and not a pen and paper RPG
