I actually did get the vibe that it was a stylistic choice, whether you like it or not... But while we're discussing the master, I think it's quite lacking in top end (At least on "At least we all have friends" which I'm listening to right now)

I don't "think" it was a stylistic choise, I know it was. troupe is way to skilled to accidently overcompress something like that, and although many sound engineers would probably have some really nasty things to say about that compression, I personally think it owns!

this is cool stuff alright, really cool sounds here and there. just hoping the master wasn't so distorted and limited. but I guess it really suits the songs here, kinda daft punk'ish approach.
what ever happened to our funk co-ops? 
edit: have to add that I really enjoy listening to this. at least we have friends sounds like it was pop music with a boost from the future. might end up buying an album such as this, and THAT'S a big thing congrats dude. gimme a note someday!

I think the artist gets to decide which elements are important and whether the delicate approach is appropriate
