I'm just wondering a thing. I have my contact list, I know what people are going to email me are not going to go into the SPAM folder, why accept them altogether? Why accept the emails and put them into the SPAM folder? Why not block them in the first place, never to reach the SPAM folder?
I'm talking here about the email providers such as Gmail, Yahoo and all those others...
Can't this be done? Or is there a special reason why the SPAM folder exists?

In case one email accidentally lands on the spam folder, so you can retrieve it. It already happened to me three times. On gmail.

Believe it or not, I have certain advertisements coming which I really read. SPAM messages are garbage when it is not on your subject. SPAM, for instance, about whistle shop updates is smth of interest to me. But I want it in the spam folder.
