I think thats a bit harsh.
Ocmtime, just stick at it, and only listen to constructive criticism. |
It's still an awkward way of spamming with a topictitle like that..
I don't go around and say: young 23 year old kid with laptop makes breakcore
Especially the young part makes it odd, to say the least.. what 16 year
old calls him or herself young and forgives him or herself?

I think it's damned effective of a strategy, if I were a 16 year old girl, that's what I'd do
@partysan, oooh lluvia, she was a good one, got to search out her stuff at the modarchive

It's effective as spam perhaps, but if you really wanted answers to the question "how can I improve my music" you'd probably be a little annoyed when the most common reply is "YOU are a GIRL!!!".

By definition no I suppose, a tracker IS a vertical sequencer. Some people like 'em, some don't, it's just taste.
What a coincidence indeed.

There are 3 ways of making an arpeggio in a tracker:
1. do it note by note and then speed the whole thing up
2. use the pitch function; let the notes pitch up, and then play notes one after another in quick succession (see a certain Samplemaster song for this technique)
3. sample an arpeggio from somewhere and import it into the tracker
