The idea is very different. At MPC the result was pesented with a smiley. Here the result is pesented with a false percentage (and the funny thing is that the true percentage has so far always been higher than fake). |
Well, the original idea here was to present it with a smiley too. In fact, the whole smiley thing didn't disappear, we just entered the number next to it. Would you be more happy if we didn't put up the percentage sign?

Ah, this clears up some things.
I remember several months ago when I noticed one of my songs was POTW. It made me a very happy man. That is, until I threw in a vote in order to see my score. It then appeared a 56% approval rate, which threw me into a big long depression.
Up until now I've been thinking 44% of the world hated me and wanted me to die, all because of that % sign, while it really just meant that everybody in the world loves me, including those 6 people who happened to notice that whole POTW thing up there.
All this time in a darkened state, just because of that % sign.
I think I might sue you now, ctg. Make you pay those therapy bills. You made me an uncertain man while there was no reason for me to be uncertain of myself at all. I am the best, and I was the best all along. It's just that you did your best in making me doubt that. And you succeded. ctg - zepsi: 1- 0

Well you deserve it. I feel pity for all of those who chose not to download your wonderful production only because they though it had a measly 56% approval rate.
