The entries I liked were the georgian and finnish entries, but the rest.. hooo boy.. what complete crap they were :/
(and yes, I AM counting in our own country's contribution which also sucked!)
I can't believe that the "fake dame edna" song actually got second place, it doesn't have any musical merit at all, it's out of tune, it lacks melody and it's just a fricking loop.. and still it caught so many votes (even from our country, SWEDES WHO VOTED FOR THEM SHOULD BE EXILED TO THE MOON WITHOUT SPACE SUITS!)
And as for the "buddy votes" that the east block was doing, that's no different than our own buddy votes over here. It's damned obvious that west and east have very differing opinions of what music is, and east will always win on majority alone. So the solution is to regress into having two competitions (west and east ESC)
but blah, I need breakfast!
edit: actually, the highlight of the evening was the finnish show, which was pretty damned kickass IMO, Apocalyptica ruled for sure! (although I felt the acrobats were a bit silly myself)

Apart from the winner, my favourite was Bulgaria's psy-tranceish performance.

yeah maybe my favourite aswell, though i read it's a complete ripoff from a juno reactor song, but hey that's eurovision!

and ukraine.. haha something that this contest totally deserves, yet another 'a fuck in the eurovision's ass'. funny and catchy as hell
i mean c'mon :
well overally had a few laughs, didn't watch it all the way through but the tv was open in the background. really surprised how great of a show finland gave, the hosts were great, the seqments and break shows were great. apocalyptica always rock!

Still, at least UK can always rely on Ireland for a few points.

I´m with John Marwin here. I think nearly 70% was musically a total crap and things seems to be like, that every year the quality of the contributions is decreasing aswell.
They should rename this contest in something like comedian music grandprix or so.
And this neighbourhood-voting stinks too... won´t follow future Grand Prix´s, seriously. It´s a waste of time

Looking over the end results, I can't believe Spain gave Romania 12 votes. WTF? Moldova I understand, but Spain?... The local minority must've rigged the televoting.

it was real fun and made the difference, was very logical to be 1st or second song
