you really think I've done this because of what you said? Come on xerxes, I thought you knew me better than that. To be honest, I couldn't care less what anyone said, and thats why I stopped and left. Once upon a time, I would have been really annoyed and told everyone to fuck off, and got on with it, telling myself 'well I can make a fucking song with these samples, why cant you?' - thats my problem, I've lost passion for it, I have far bigger things going on with myself, than getting mad over a competition, and something snapped with me last night, and to tell the truth, I have no regret over leaving... I'm sorry if I pissed anyone off - but me leaving like that, was the best thing I could have done for myself.
I spent time with my better half instead, and it made me feel a whole lot better than OHCing does.

well that makes me glad  anyhow.. i hope to see you compoing again! i am going to host one tonight.. around the same time as turtleshead. if you are bored off your ass, you should join!

This is exactly the same reason as I had when I stopped reviewing
.. suddenly one day I dawned on me that I was doing a service to others, but not getting any recognition for it and only harsh language thrown at me as a reward, so why continue?
Also, when time in your life becomes a commodity instead of a free gift to spend as you see fit, you start to repreoritize certain aspects of your life. The things that give you little or no advantages are the first to go, and I think Slammy just realized that TH isn't one of his top priorities anymore.

getting pissed off, pissing people off, using foul language... no matter what the case is, this sort of behaviour isn't a thing I have respect for. learn to control your emotions before taking action.
life is (or at least should be) about learning and enjoying, only a fool would think otherwise.
"since when is OHC the fucking meaning of life?. I figured that out last night." I mean come on... of course ohcs ain't the meaning of life or even close to being one, it's just a way to spend time like someone said already. but all the yattering sounds like the writings of a pissed off person so it shouldn't be quoted. yet that I did. guess I'm pissed off aswell.

There are still compos in #mod_shrine (irc.esper.net) almost ever day. I think we had three a day or two ago.
