if you need a news item, then you'd have to post it under 'HOME'.. everyone can write news thus. All you need to do is insert it there, and the admin(or pluks) will either accept it for frontpage, or deny. It's simple 
Once it's here though, there's no way to get it over there, but to do what I wrote above and delete this thread.
