Ah, yes. In that case, if those people want tunes reviewed, they need to get their hands dirty and do some reviews of their own.
Or they can be lazy and wait 367 days to get a review. That's the artist's problem, not the reviewer's.

I like the idea of reviews not being neccesary to be on the charts, because I think
that the lesser the consequences of a review, the better.. Maybe the problem with
reviews and their ratings, is that they affect the "status" of an artist on this site.. I can only imagine the disappointment of a beginning musician to have his first two,
three tracks rated a big, fat four, especially as CTG can in NO WAY say WHAT it
means to have a 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 or even 10.
Which completes the circle: what does CTG want to be?
I don't think it's fun alone.. not for the majority of users anyway.. what then ?
Recognition? Social network? Feedback? Knowledge and skillz?
Oh well..

Personally I love CTG and hate Myspace. Cause people here are honest and will dare to rate my song bellow 5. That is honesty , and not only I repsect that , i love it. This way I know where I stand!

I totally agree on this. My statement was more referring to john's statement that he didnt like persons who cared about the charts.
I guess I quoted the wrong message. But certainly with the low amounts of reviews now, I think that's only fair for songs that arent rated to get on the charts.
Anyway, what we need is coder. I've said that hundreds of times before. So we can debate what we want, and even though its fun, its not really making a difference.

What I've always liked about this, is that it used to be really effective in the past. However, at this very moment it doesn't work very good.... I mean, I wrote 14 reviews in this week, and I got 1 back.
What this site can do to improve this, even though it's only a little is to decrease the amount you need to write for promo. In the past it used to be 5, but that was changed to 7 because there were too much promo songs. RIght now we hardly have promo songs at all (usually), so changing it back to 5 again could be good.

ok, let us put stop on this.
I DID REMOVE SONG BECAUSE IT SUCKED IN EVERY WAY:
1. nobody could learn anything from it
2. it was SORT of house, perhaps not even house. so it was useless
3. if i was that lazy to work 2 days on it, i shouldn't have put it on ctg anyway
4. i wouldn't want somebody to waste time downloading it, especially people whose internet sucks.
it's my fault I removed it, but I did. so, stop wasting your time.
