I use drumloops ALL the time
But, and here's the magic.. I simply make em meself
Using either recorded drumsessions on ethnic percussion (coz, I play djembee, bongos and talking drums) or use a nifty little piece of software called "biodrummer"..
Besides.. you can always mix the drumloop in your track using offset or delay..
And yes, I have an amenloop addiction..!!
I don't care how often it's being used, it's just something between me, amenloop and a good sassy softclip distortion.. woooooyeah!! |

drumloops are used by everyone , it all depends on the style you compose ....
there is nothign bad in using them , just use them in an original way .... |

I fully agree with Cooth here. I don't find it wrong to use them. If you think it makes your music better, then go ahead. Moreover, as drumloops are often recorded from real drums, they tend to sound better than tracked drum parts. But I just don't see the fun of using them. I like to compose everything in my track (although I generally don't make my samples; but if I used electronic sounds instead of real instrumnents, I might).
