Attention all Sound designers, Recordists, Music Producers, Filmmakers, Web/game Developers, Audio Freaks!

We have just launched www.soundsnap.com, an online platform for finding and sharing free sound effects and loops- legally!



It is a collection of original sounds made or recorded by its users, and not songs or sound FX found on commercial libraries or sample CD's.

Check it out because:

- It has 30.000 sounds contributed by different sound and music people from all over the world.

- It has a friendly interface that makes it really fast and easy to find what you are looking for.

- Contributors include: Mike Dred (Rephlex records), SI BEGG (Ninjatune, Mute), Monster X ( Peace off records ) , Justine Angus (Batman Begins, Happy Feet), Stuart Duffield (Game Sound for Konami, Acclaim, Fox Sound Studios)

- Its time to stop paying for sample CD's and libraries, going to paid sites and searching through the junk that most free websites have.

yeah, looks like a really nice site indeed. Only thing I'm missing is the option to download larger files as albums or something, at once.. coz now I need to download every single sample on it's own, which is a quite a lot of work..

so in the end i'm only going to download the ones that I'm certain of using.
