I'm a bit surprised by our own score, I admit I was highly confident about our entry. So I can't help to be disappointed. But that's the risk every compo participant has to take.
So nevertheless, congrats to the winners

I find it cool to see that there are pretty great differences between the ratings. It only shows how 'taste' affects us all, even though we, randor, slammy and I, have been writing reviews for a pretty long time. Taste is a really big part of music I guess.

The only reason I ever put some songs to public was that I found them nice when I made them. And if others don't like them so much, they just don't understand how great they are.
That doesn't only apply to my own songs. Sometimes I listen to a song I love and feel extremely moved with. I show it to others, and for them, it's "a nice little song, yeah".
"Nice little song" is the worst thing you can say about a track, eheh.
So there, forget about objectiveness in music. Even if you _are_ objective, it means nothing. |

I'm very happy with my 5th place. When i listened to the entries for the first time, i said hmm, my entry can take every place and i think all entries were very strong. Congrats for the judges, especially analysis for writing a whole review for all songs.  I'm looking forward to the next compo |

I've already had thoughts of bringing the Knock Out compos to CTG. One that will vary differently though, should I do that, is... no judges... It will be public voting!
What do you guys think about Knock Out Compo?
