Four people were killed and at least nine injured when a gunman opened fire in a crowded show in Caracas,
""I am deeply shocked and still stunned by the events of Saturday [3rd November]. My condolences go out to victims that were caught up in the horrific act that took place at this gig. I am informed that it was gang related, and feel so sad that anybody would act in such a manner when the event was full of 7000 people having fun. I find it such a sad moment in electronic music as this was probably one of the best set up shows I had played in South America ? a sign of real progress?et utterly hijacked by this mindless act. Again, my heart goes out to those that have died or been injured. This is NOT what the dance scene is about and is a million miles away from what I want to do, or promote."

I would have banned the user who posted that video right away if it happened on my forum. Sure, those things happen in real life, but there's a lot of sensitive viewers and posting something like that requires a good understanding of 'where' and 'how'.
Personally I do play very gory games every now and then, but I do not want to see real people getting killed without seeing a clear warning first.

Today they showed on the news how police beat up people in Georgia, brutally, just taking random people out of the crowd and kicking them into face and chest with feet, then tossing on the ground and stomping them.
I don't agree these things should be shown. Otherwise let's show how people get raped - I mean, it is real life, isn't it? Criminal news and stuff - look, this guy raped a girl, here's a secret video that police had to take to nail the guy. |

I loathe nothing more than censorship. Alas, this site is privately owned so I really don't have much of a say in it.
Now, on a more calm note: Everyone has the right to see what he wants to see and everyone has the right to show what he or she wants to show. A warning is nice though.
Personally I have seen a lot of very nasty shit on the internet, and it reminds me how easily we can do the worst kind of shit to each other and how each and everyone of us and our physical integrity are fragile as can be.
So personally, I'm glad I watched stuff like this. Only if you face the cold facts can you ever fathom WHY things need to be dealt with. Any idiot can tell you that murder is bad. It's the testimony of one who has seen it happen (or the silent testimony of a camera) that makes people aware of just how bad something is.
What pill munchers have to do with this is a big riddle to me and frankly I resent remarks like that.

although I value the right to post, say and shit whatever you want,
as long as you have decent arguments to back the action up, but I
agree that posting a video of a shooting on a musicboard, just because
it happened at a party, without any warning about the nature of the
footage, or the lack of my grammarcontrol at the moment, a bit off.
