| Well, I got my bass and my kick down along with my percs and they sound GREAT! Unfortunately when I try to introduce a pad, no matter how much I EQ it, it sounds like it's skipping. It's like my bass and my kick are cutting into it or something. Any help would be appreciated, thank you. |

| Well, I decreased the output gain on my compressor for my kick drum and lowered the decay and that seemed to clear it up. |

I think there once was a topic where someone wanted to know how to achieve exactly that effect which you discovered by accident
