I'm considering running a bi-weekly chip fight!

IT/XM/S3M/MOD only, set chip packs, everyone who enters, votes and has option to comment on each track too...

Whether I do this chip compo, depends very much on the interest received.

Well, just run it as a one-shot and see what happens. If it works out, do it again. If not, just don't do it again. Can't hurt, and even a one-shot would be fun. :)

Also, might I suggest letting outsiders vote too? Maybe weight the votes so that contestants get more influence, but you might attract more regular interest if people who don't want to compete can still participate by voting. Just a suggestion though.
