Absolutely... Once I have this new board installed tonight, I *will* be considerably faster than the 4600+ X2 I was running before. :excited:

Just like the Pentium 4, the Phenom isn't a *bad* CPU, it's just not the best in its class.

I'm on Athlon 2500+ hahaha.

Probably will be on quad core intel in about 6 weeks. Will be good for my 24channel soundcard arriving this week :D . So excited about new gear, can't wait! :excited:

Yes, always good fun upgrading!. My current jump isn't as noticable as when I jumped from 2800+ Athlon to 4600+ x2, but, then again, I'll know better when the new board is installed tonight!.

Man, you're just going to love going from a 2500+ Athlon to a Core 2 Quad.... you'll be drooling all over it.... just be careful you dont fry anything with your drool!
