I don't like rap in general as well. But there is plenty of good rap out there.
And that brings us back to the epitome of what music is about: feeling. Music is sound, sometimes with lyrics to go with it that brings out a certain feeling and/or ideas. It's a truly unique thing.
And certain pieces of music can mean something different to different people. I'd say that a lot of times when someone gives an opinion about a piece of music it's not totally objective because it also depends on how this person experiences the music as a whole... what does he/she feel?
Hence, it's a waste of time to talk about good taste / bad taste. |

no.. i think anything that says "let me see that thong" and "it's getting hot in here take off your clothes" is BAD TASTE.

the tounge has 3 taste regions.. sour.. bitter.. sweet. There is no rap region.
It's not about taste. Its about an overpopulated world so we have to find jobs for all the lazy unskilled people.. so we make em rappers. They are entertainers not musicians and the word "RAP" should never be spoken again on a "Scene Music Community". Ok im done |

actually, Nelly is hip-hop... but yeah his latest stuff is real crap. i only liked country grammar, that was a tight cd .
