hi i would like to know how to add the t-pain effect to vocals?

i hope somebody knows what i mean.

if you don't i mean the effect placed over the vocals, like in this song:

That effect is called Auto tune.

Well, I'm sure there are free plugins for pitch correction as well.

And IMO: why go for the oft-abused autotune? Vocoder is easier, and smoother.

do you guys have a preset to go with vocoder or gsnap? to create the effect? because all those autotune videos kind of use the same preset.
