I have thought about this for some time and I think a thread like this is a good idea.
In this day and age people are using all sorts of audio software and collaborating between audio workstations (such as reason and cubase) can be a little tricky.
In this thread you should state what program and program version you are using, and if you have a preferred style you should state that too. If you have specific shortcomings musically such as "I can't make decent beats" perhaps you should state that too so perhaps people that can make beats will contact you and offer to help.
Of course there are tons of vst/vsti out there and you'll have to agree upon some you both share or use only native stuff to your workstation.
Hope some people will like this idea

I'm up for collaboration. I use FL Studio 8 XXL, and Nexus 2. I'm really good with main melodies, and my basslines are getting there, but non-repetitive rhythm tracks are where I fall short. We should try something sometime, Tyr.
