Bypass a sub if you have one? There's no point in that imo. If you have the crossover and volume balance between the two set up correctly, why disable it while mastering? The point of a sub is to extend the low frequency response of your main speakers, so why not use it if you have one and your mixes contain bass-heavy material? 
Anyways, I'm 21.
Btw, mastering isn't as hard as it may seem. Just read some online articles and practise, practise, practise. That's the best advice I can give really. |
